Report: Fuel Delayed by One Week
Probably Too Big to Ship Now
by Sean

Word out of VG247 is Codemasters has decided to delay the release of Fuel, the recently crowned Guinness World Record holder for largest console game, by one week. This would move the on-sale date from May 26th, to June 5th. Although the report claims that this has been "confirmed" by Codemasters, various sites still give other release dates. Amazon is still listing the 26th, while both GameStop and Wikipedia have it releasing on June 2nd.
There's no mention in the report as to who from Codemasters made the decision, nor why. One would think that a week before a game is supposed to be in stores is probably too much time to really change or fix anything, but I guess we'll have to wait and see. Fortunately we'll only have to wait for a week.

Well, crap. I was supposed to review this, and now it's coming out the week of E3.
Thanks, Codemasters.
I almost forgot this was coming out.
Must be an issue with the printing of the games. That's really the only thing you can fix in a week.
You're right, FAR too big to fit on a disk. They might need a shoehorn.
