Resident Evil 4 Announced for Wii
Remake of Arguably the Best GameCube Game
by Sean
One of the most successful and best-selling titles from the Nintendo GameCube will finally find a home on Nintendo's newest system. Capcom has announced a release and price for Resident Evil 4 on the Nintendo Wii.
See, it says Wii right there on it!
This zombie shoot-em-up, which many magazines and websites rank as the best game not only in the Resident Evil series, but the best game for the GameCube, will be released in June and will retail for $29.95. This is not such a bad price when compared to other games for the system, although it might seem a bit silly to fork over another thirty bucks for a game that you may still own from your GameCube (I still have my copy...). The upside is that with the remake, you'll be able to use the Wiimote and Nunchuck instead of having to plug in your old GameCube controller. There will be five new playable chapters in which you play as Ada Wong as well as content that originally appeared only in the Playstation 2 version.
The game will be rated M for blood and gore, intense violence and language. So suck on that Jack Thompson!
Violence existed long before Leon left Raccoon City, Mr. Thompson.
