Rock Band Export in Action
How Can a Video with "Yakety Sax" Possibly Be Bad?
by Sean
Richard Mitchell over at 360 Fanboy has posted a video of the Rock Band song export in action, showing how easy it is to move all of his Rock Band songs into Rock Band 2. For anyone who has ever transferred data from one 360 hard drive to another, the process should look familiar. Bear in mind, you'll need 1.5GB of memory and 400
($5) for a license.
Take a look:
I find it interesting that you can't bring over all of the songs from the original. I mean, what the hell is wrong with Metallica, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Tokyo Hotel? It must be some kind of bias against metal (and British emo...). Rock Band 2 is in stores September 14.

I wish you could export a certain number for a certain price. I really don't want all those songs. Some of them were complete garbage (I'm looking at YOU, Wave of Mutilation.)
Oh snap, that's Sean's song! It's on!
Also, I'd love to never have to listen to Fallout Boy ever, ever, ever again.
ITS ON! ITS ON! ITS ON!
Pixies hating? Pixies hating? You could have gone after Jet for being horrible wanna-be Ramones, you could have called Here it Goes Again the one-hit wonder that it was, you even could have pointed out that the Stones, Bowie and Deep Purple's collected ages add up to a seven digit number.
But no. You had to hate on the Pixies. One of the most influential bands of the 1980s. Neglecting that Kurt Cobain admitted that he, ""was basically trying to rip off the Pixies".
But I'm not angry. I feel sorry for you really.
Dude... why does knocking on the ages of some of the most respected musicians of all time have to come into play? Does that change the fact that they've made some of the best music ever? "Oh man, Mick Jagger and David Bowie AGE! Burn!" Please. Also, David Bowie is still one of the sexiest men ever. The end.
