LittleBigPlanet, after months and months of delays, has finally landed on PlayStation 3s across this great big planet of ours. The reviews are in, and it seems like just about everyone is loving this little gem of a platformer. As good as it is, it was inevitable that talk would start flying around about porting LBP to other platforms.

Bear in mind, this isn't the first time we've heard these rumors, but this time seems to be the most credible. The December issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly has gotten that ball rolling, with this quote from Quartermann:

"The LBP universe will also continue to evolve next year with the release of the PSP version: Q-Mann hears it’s fantastically ambitious and will further flesh out the PS3 LBP experience."

That sounds, to my somewhat trained ears, a little more substantial than your average rumor (see: 360 Blu-ray, GTA IV DLC, et al). If this proves to be true, this is awesome news. I love LBP, but the truth is, I am running out of reasons to turn on my PSP anymore. A port, or even some kind of interactivity between PS3 and PSP, would be all the incentive I need to put my hands back on the handheld.
