Six New Games Get PlayStation 3 Greatest Hits Status
Sony Wants to Save You Some Money
by Sean

The economy is falling apart. Money markets shrink daily as billions of dollars that once existed disappear into thin air. People barely have two nickels to rub together, let alone the kind of disposable income that allows for the purchase of every game on the market. No, this isn't the set-up for a new dystopian future gaming IP, it's the real world. Sony has heard the cries of the masses, and has decided to help out, albiet in a rather small way. Beginning on June 16th, half a dozen AAA PS3 games will have their prices slashed to the amazing low low price of just $29.99.
The games are:
Army of Two (EA)
Battlefield Bad Company (EA)
Devil May Cry 4 (Capcom)
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (SCEA)
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (Konami)
Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction (SCEA)
Of course most of these games have been out for long enough that you could probably find a used copy in most stores, and likely for less than thirty bucks. But, as I've said before, there is nothing quite like that new game smell.

Tell Sony that they forgot Uncharted.
BF:BC is going for $20 on the 360. I'll pickup that one instead.
I skipped MGS4 since I still haven't played MGS3. Nice to know that I won't have to pay $60.
I might pick up Ratchet & Clank and Army of Two for the discounted prices. Not sure.
