Maybe you didn't know this, but Rockstar Games is about ready to release a sequel to the underwhelming Red Dead Revolver called Red Dead Redemption. From all of the advance videos and information on the game, it would really seem as though the word "Redemption" is more than fitting for the franchise, as it looks like Rockstar has made a concerted effort to make the new title as addictive as the more popular games from the studio, namely GTA IV. The last video the developer released highlighted the Roam mulitplayer mode, with a promise of a look at more of the game's modes in the future. Well people, the future is now. The above video shows off the remainder of the modes, and if you weren't already excited for the game, my first question is: what the hell is the matter with you? My second is: are you now?

To me, the most promising thing shown off in that trailer is the Mexican stand-off. To know that every match I enter will begin with one of the greatest Western genre cliches sets my heart a-racing. I'm already anticipating putting together my eight man posse and bringing some lawless disorder to the expansive open world. There is literally no unreleased game at this point that I'm as excited for as I am for Red Dead Redemption. Only a few more weeks, and it's on!
