Tekken 6 Motivation Trailer

Real Pros Talk About Getting Beaten Up as a Reason for Beating Up Others

by Sean

A new trailer out today for Tekken 6 takes a bit of a different tack than you're used to seeing from a video game teaser. Rather than fill up the screen with gameplay footage or even in-game cinematics, Namco Bandai has sound bites from some of the world's best known professional fighters talking about their childhood memories of getting beat up, bullied, or pushed around and how those moments influenced their decisions to become fighters. Among the bruisers are former heavyweight champion Evander "The Real Deal" Holyfield, 4-time Muy Thai world champion William "The Bull" Sriyapai, and sumo wrestler Tamir "The Giant Killer".

Take a look:

So basicially the lesson of this video is that if you want your child to grow up to become a professional fighter, you should do everything in your power to make sure he or she is picked on by bullies. Name a boy "Sue", dress your son in a sailor suit, give your daughter a speech impediment, just do something to make sure the meanest kids know to pick on your progeny. You're a shoe-in for a pro fighter.

Oh, and I guess you could play Tekken 6 too.
