The Sights of CES (The First Two Days)
So Much to See, So Much to Do!
by Sean
There are so many cool things to see and do at the International Consumer Electronics Show that I feel like if I had a month, I still wouldn't see 25% of it. However, I have seen some amazing things so far. Here's just a quick look at some of the best so far. (Click on the image to see a high-rez version, although some of the pics were snapped with my phone, and as such aren't quite as "high"...)
A life-sized, transformed Bumblebee.
One of the Venetian's human statues welcomes/creeps-out the press.
Ray Barbee and Mataji Booker entertain at the Element/Vistalife reception.
The Venetian brings the daytime indoors all the time. Plenty of water too, for being in the middle of the desert...
Everyone in Las Vegas queues up for the Bill Gates keynote.
R2D2 moonlights as a home theater projector. What movie was he projecting? Star Wars. (natch)
Panasonic's 150 inch plasma screen TV. If my calculations are correct, that's the same size as 20 football fields. It's so popular here at the show, that I had to wait for ten minutes to get this close to it.
Me as Travis Bickle. Wait, how'd that get in here?!

Please please please please PLEASE tell me that Bumblebee transforms. Even if it doesn't, just tell me it does.

Sean, do you drive taxis for a living?
I am not a taxi driver, I just play one on photoshop.
