What you see above is a new trailer for the upcoming Lucha Libre AAA: Heroes del Ring. In it, we see a host of Mexican wrestlers getting their game faces and masks on as they prepare to head into the ring to do battle. While most people tend to think of Lucha wrestling as a silly activity (see: Nacho Libre), from what I can gather from this video, it's no joke for those dedicated to the occupation.

Appearing to be a mixture of a Nine Inch Nails video, an Eli Roth movie, and a WWE game, Konami isn't messing around with Lucha Libre AAA. Normally I could take or leave the average wrestling game (except, of course, for Pro Wrestling for the NES), but Lucha seems to put an emphasis on old-fashioned wrestling action, as opposed to the wrestling sim model that seems to be so dominant recently (see: Smackdown vs. Raw). Anyway, the game will be out in mid-October, so we'll find out then if it's really all that it's cracked up to be.
