The reaction from gamers to Tony Hawk Ride has been, well, let's just call it mixed. There is one group, however, that is sure to be unhappy about it- the obese. According to Robomodo, the skateboard peripheral's developer, Ride's fakeboard will have a weight limit of 300 pounds.

It's worth mentioning that the Wii Balance Board also ships with a weight limit of 300lbs. And at the risk of generalizing, I'm not too sure how upset the over 300 crowd will be by this news. I mean, it's not exactly like this is a demographic that is looking for more physical interaction from their gaming consoles. It looks like the sumo crowd will just have to wait for Project Natal's invisible skateboard.
