If yesterday's news about Amazon.com running out of the MW2 Prestige Edition has you down, developer Naughty Dog has come along to cheer you up. The company announced during a panel at PAX yesterday that Uncharted 2, the action adventure sequel, will be getting its own special edition, named the Fortune Hunter Edition. Seen above it will include the game (natch), a collectible art book, a collector case autographed by the Naughty Dog team, an exact in-game replica of the Phurba Dagger Artifact, and a host of free downloads.

The catch for this limited edition bundle is that you're not going to be able to buy it. No, the Fortune Hunter Edition can only be obtained by winning an as-yet-unspecified contest. Naughty Dog hasn't stated what shape or form that contest will take, but promises to make an announcement about it very soon on the PlayStation blog. At least this time around you won't be kicking yourself for not pre-ordering.
