As promised, during last night's Late Night With Jimmy Fallon Naughty Dog's co-presidents Evan Wells and Christophe Balestra gave a demo of the gameplay of the upcoming Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. If you watched last week's teaser trailer, you may not have been convinced that what you saw was, in fact, in-game footage. Well, Wells and Balestra did everything in their collective power to ensure that you know that, yes, what you've seen is in fact gameplay, and is some of the best looking action we've ever seen. And that's high praise when you consider that the Uncharted series has become known for incredible action sequences.Check it out:

Personally, I'm a really big Jimmy Fallon fan. As a person, he clearly loves video games, and as a talk show host, he has stayed true to his word that games would receive the same treatment on his show that films and television shows have traditionally gotten from other broadcast talk shows. Even his good natured ribbing about the release date and the accent of M. Balestra sound like the kind of genuine banter only a true gamer could have.

Oh, and the footage looks amazing too.
