What Are You Playing This Week? - 05.04.09
Catch Up or Catsup?

Taking a look at the new releases for this week did not do a whole lot to excite me, so I believe that I will find myself doing what I have been promising for a long time: finishing up some of the games that sit half-played on my shelf.
First of all, I am simply out of excuses to have not finished Bioshock yet. I bought the damn game almost as soon as it came out, and I've started it no less than three different times now. I know I've been saying it for a while now, but this time is for real. I will complete Bioshock this week.
Once that is out of the way, I'm going back to my incomplete shelf and grabbing Assassin's Creed. Although I got this game as a Christmas gift in 2007, I've only gotten as far as the first assassination. I'm not sure if I'll be able to play the whole thing this week, in fact, it's fair to say that I will not. But I'm not going to let that stop me.
In between my visits to Rapture and sneaking around with Altaïr, I'm going to be playing Rainbow Six: Vegas 2. In an attempt to relive our undergraduate days, my former roommate Shagino and I are going to get together for some co-op madness. If you see us on XBL and are feeling up to the challenge, shoot us a game invite.
There's also a good chance that I'll be borrowing Coop's copy of Velvet Assassin so I can see whether or not it needs to become part of my collection. As a fan of stealthy action (thanks to Sam Fisher), I have been pretty psyched to play this going way back to the days when it was going to be called Sabotage. I've heard that an inconsistent stealth system takes some of the fun out of this one, so I have to give it a try before I make the full investment.

Sadly the only thing I will be playing this week is Photoshop. Damn you, portfolio! Damn you to hell!
i'll take the catsup option. oh, and also patapon once i get my paws on it.
Persona 3 FES, The Dark Spire, and maybe stealing Chris's copy of X-Men Origins: Wolverine (the game HAS to be better than the movie).
Guess I'll have to play RS: Vegas2 now ;) Plus F.E.A.R., Gears of War, and L4D. Maybe MLB09? Feel free to add me if any of you want to play any of these this week.
@Sean. Assassin's Creed will get boring after about the 4th or 5th assassination. Put it away for a month or so and then come back to it. It will be fun again almost all the way til the end. The power through the pain-in-the-ass ending and check it off your list.
As for me, I shot a 62 at Sheshan Internation Golf Club yesterday. So now my life is all about Tiger Woods 09 again.
Getting primed for mad Fallout 3 once BS comes out.
A little bit of Crisis Core and that's pretty much it.
I need to look into Assassin's Creed...probably someday before the second one comes out.
I'm piddling with the rented copy of Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 I have. I rented it to update my rosters in Legends of Wrestlemania, but I have it for 5 days so why not? Otherwise if I have time I'm starting hard mode in Echoes of Time.
