What many classic 8-bit games lacked in graphical output, they more than made up for in difficulty level. I mean who among us can honestly say we've ever actually gotten all the way through Battletoads? I sure as hell haven't. Even games that came with the option to set the level of challenge could sometimes cause one to rip one's hair out, even on the easiest setting. Wouldn't it be great if there was the opportunity to play some games in a mode that's even easier, say, super easy? Some editor over at CollegeHumor has put together a compilation video showing exactly what that kind of game would look like, with hilarious results.

Every once in a while I like to take a break from news for a good laugh, and this video certainly provided that. The Contra bit may have been my favorite, but the Zelda one is a close second. In a perfect world, Sega and Nintendo would take note of this and re-release all of their old school games with a super easy mode. Alas, they will not, and those few minutes of video will be all we'll ever get.
