Major Nelson posted this morning about a pair of new 360 bundles that will be coming to stores just in time for the holiday shopping season. One bundle comes complete with a new Elite and a pair of games, while the other ships with a brand new wireless controller and four of the most popular Xbox Live Arcade games. Interested? I thought you might be. Read on!

The Elite bundle, cleverly named the Xbox 360 Elite Holiday Bundle, will ship with the Elite and its 120GB HDD, as well as the full retail versions of super-fun platformer LEGO Batman: The Videogame and four-wheel racer Pure. It has already started shipping to stores, and will be available in the US and Canada ($299 USD).

The controller bundle, with the secretive name of the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller Game Pack, comes with not only the black 360 controller, but also a copy of Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2, Lumines LIVE!, Bomberman LIVE! and a downloadable token for Ms. Pac-Man. This pack will be available in all regions that have access to XBL, and will sell for $59.99.
So whether you're putting together your own holiday wishlist, or if you're looking for that perfect something for the special person in your life, Microsoft may have just made your life easier.

I was about to jump in and freak out about how awesome the first is, but Geo Wars and Limunes makes the second good rockin awesomeface as well.
But wait, there's more! If you snag one of these before October 5th, $50 rebate.
Just great, a few weeks ago my 360 i had for about 2 years got the red rings again. Warrenty was up and i needed a bigger hard drive so i upgraded and bought an elite since its priced dropped. Then a few weeks later it comes out with same price and 2 games. One being pure which i've wanted for a while. Just my luck
That controller bundle is hella sweet. I needed a reason to buy another one, anyways.
