Major Nelson announced an update for Xbox Live avatars that brings something that I know we've all been dying for - new shoes. That's right ladies and gentlemen, there is now a brand new selection of footwear to outfit your virtual self with. The new options are:

For the guys-

• Flip Flops
• High Top Sneakers
• Socks and Sandals
• 70’s Leather Platforms

For the ladies-

• Sunny Day Sandals
• White 60’s Boots

While this isn't exactly earth-shattering news, I thought I'd pass the info along to you. I know that some of you out there are shoe junkies, and I'm sure that you'll all be rushing home now to get your own pair of socks and sandals.
