Xbox Resident Evil 5 Demo Hits 1.8 Million Downloads
PlayStation 3 Has Some Catching Up to Do
by Sean

Microsoft has announced this morning that over the weekend, the demo for the upcoming Capcom horror-survival title, Resident Evil 5, reached a total of 1.8 million downloads on the Xbox Live, with a most impressive 1.3 million of those being downloaded in the first three days when the demo was only available to XBL Gold members. While this doesn't mark a new record for downloads (that still belongs to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed), it does put RE5 near the top of the list.
With the full release still over a month away, chances are that we haven't seen the last announcement from MS on how many people are downloading this particular demo. Now the pressure is on Sony to put up some impressive download numbers of their own. Get to it PS3 owners! Break those records!

I really didn't like the demo, i guess i'm just not used to games like RE5, i'm used to faster paced 1st person shooters. I was very disappointed and don't think i'll be picking this one up.
I liked it, it plays like RE4 but a bit shiny.
