It's been a while since I did a Game Review and the last game review I did was KOF Orochi Saga so this one is for the Latest SNK compilation: Samurai Showdown Anthology.

For Alittle Backstory I was a fan of Samurai Showdown since I played for the first time on the Genesis at the Age of 12.(which contributed to how I got into the SNK scene.)

It blew my mind when I got older and Discovered it was a Neo Geo Game and that it had sequels that I eventually got to play Via Emulaton but this is no longer the case since it's all in one Disc.

However I have to agree with The TFG Review and say the PS2 Version is much better in terms of what it has to offer than the PSP Version, Unlike KOF Orochi Saga You can even change the Music settings to "Original" or "Arranged" and While the PS2 has it's strong points the PSP Has it's limitations. (Most notably with Samurai Showdown 6) but aside from it's flaws the PS2 Version of this collection has Exceeded my Expectations, Chances are the Wii Version is possibly even better if you own one.

Samurai Showdown Anthology Intro (PS2 Version)

I won't say the PSP Version is completely bad but It needs Improvement, As better quoted from the TFG Review:

"The only problem is: Samurai Shodown 6 on the PSP version is simply no good. The resolution is terrible (and cant be changed like in the other games) and the graphics were horribly downgraded... So if you're looking to play SS6 in all it's glory, you'll need a PS2 or Wii... On the flipside, being able to play arcade perfect SS1, SS2, SS3, SS4, & SS5 on a handheld simply kicks ass and makes the PSP version worth getting as well! "

So There you have it, If your a Classic Fighting Game Enthusiast You may love this Collection. For the PS2 Version I give it a 9 out of 10 but for the PSP a 7 out of 10.

Happy Easter Weekend Everyone.
