Because High Speed/Slow Motion Rules
3 Videos I Can't Stop Watching

I'm not really sure what tuned me onto my fascination with the super high speed slow motion videos that have risen in popularity thanks to the likes of incredible advancements in technology, Myth Busters and people's fatal fascination with guns and bullets. Stemming away from being a science experiment, high speed slow motion videos have taken on a fairly artistic roll, creating endless amounts of entertainment for people as weird as me. And Mike. And now all of you. Here are 2 videos that I can't stop watching, and one honorable mention for a trooper of a model.
Tempus II
Don't be discouraged by the 6:36 time stamp. You won't even notice that time is passing by once things start getting destroyed. Now, I've seen many vases fall and break in my day, both in slow motion and real time, but dropping a raw egg on a mouse trap for a double treat is just, well, brilliant. Made by Philip Heron and James Adair and shot on the Photron SA1.1, Tempus II takes slow motion to a whole new place I've never really thought about going, but hey, I think I like it there. Enjoy the lighters in the blender!
Dancing Pigeons "Ritalin"'
When I saw that freeze frame of this music video, the first thing that came to my head was the video for Radiohead's "Karma Police". Old car, fire, a nonplussed and kind of funny looking passenger. Turns out it was better than anything I've seen for a long time. Granted, I'm not hard to please. After all, Tomas Mankovsky and Blink Productions have a long line of videos that please me so. Oh, and fire wins at everything. Enjoy the surprising epic-ness of the fire extinguisher!
Entrance Romance
Okay, so I admit that the first two videos are a really hard act to follow. And while this isn't my favorite, I still can't really get over that someone threw a fish tank at such a lovely woman. So if there's any reason to devote any more of your time to the slow motion video gods, it'll be to see just how gorgeous Carolyn Murphy can stay at all times, despite a bottle to the back of the head. Don't worry, no fish were hurt. Enjoy the gross dog tongue!

This is how Jedi see everyday.
I only really cared much for the first video. The others were too much even for me.
Ugh, i was videotaped for a video like these once. I teach martial arts and i was videotaped breaking boards for a friend's film project. When i saw my fingers/wrist/hand like in that first video i got sick to my stomach. :(
