Bluetooth Headphones Are Tangle Free

Dancing In Your Underwear Made Easier!

Bluetooth is quite possibly the worst thing to happen to cellphone etiquette since, well, the cellphone. But I think it has finally redeemed itself in the form of the ever so snazzy Jaybird Sportbands headphones, eliminating the need for anymore unruly cords. So whether you're hitting the treadmill in the basement or the pavement, you can enjoy the smooth sounds of your home stereo or your iPod. And while that's just dandy for all you joggers and gym-goers, I think it's us average folk that will get the best use.

The Jaybird Sportbands connects via Bluetooth to either of two adapters. The iSport Bluetooth Adapter plugs directly into your iPod, iPhone or iPad while the USport Adapter can plug into and deliver from any device with a headphone jack. It helps that it's available in 9 different colors, which is always a benefit when coordinating with your rock star outfit, which leads me to my next point.

Let's face it. We're not jogging around anywhere. If we need Bluetooth headphones it's either because we stay up watching TV or playing video games past any reasonable hour or we're dancing around, in the safety of our judgement free bedrooms, to the music we would never admit to having in our possession. Having endured many injuries from years of rocking out on headphones (both to myself and to my CD players and iPods) and being too ashamed to actually play that song that loud on a stereo, I stand by this product. Plus, my Axel Rose impression isn't quite ready for public viewing, so I'd rather my roommates not catch on while I practice in the mirror for its big reveal.

As with all things on my wish list, the Jaybird Sportbands aren't cheap. Retailing at $99.00, they'll definitely set you back further than a cheap pack of earbuds from RadioShack. Then again, maybe that price is worth the protection of your listening devices, whether you're dancing or just innocently jogging. It's definitely worth the price of my dignity, but there's no insurance for that.

these are pretty sweet but it would be really awesome if you could also use them as a phone headset.
