The Golden Oak Gated Community In Disney World Makes Dreams Come True

It's time to finally live out your childhood fantasy. That is if you have millions of dollars lying around, waiting to be spent. You don't? Oh. Well, the ridiculously wealthy now have the opportunity to live out your childhood fantasy of living within the Disney World Resort. Golden Oak is a gated community located southeast of the Magic Kingdom in Disney World, Orlando, Florida.
Split into three neighborhoods, an exclusive private clubhouse and a Four Seasons hotel (with 18-hole golf course), Golden Oak residents will not only enjoy the benefits of living in ginormous and highly secured homes, but also VIP privileges within the park including:
- Private transportation
- "In-Park" benefits (whatever that entails)
- Access to select special-event tickets
- Community-hosted activities (in their giant ass expensive community)
Mark my words. Concierge will somehow find a way to genetically modifiy caviar with Mickey ears. The benefits go on, though the cost of that kind of specialness is probably enough to explode my mind, brain and skull (ahem, $1.5-8 million). But for all of you who are considering such a Disney investment, you won't need to worry about too much riff-raff roaming in and out of your neighborhood Jersey shore style. In the case of rentals, renters will be held to their leases for a minimum of 6 months. Then again, if you're really so concerned about your neighbors, you may want to scrap the idea all together. Disney obsessed adults are usually, if not always, absolute freaks.

In total, 450 homes are waiting to be lived in, so cross your fingers and hope your stocks do well, or whatever it is that makes people money. Finances aren't really my strong suit beyond the bit of change in my pocket. For more absolutely absurd information, check out the Golden Oak FAQ. Warning: It kind of hurts.
