AFL Legacy Pack Coming to Madden 10
To Be Absorbed Into the Larger Game September 24
As we all know, EA’s Madden NFL Football has a monopoly on NFL games. Similarly, the NFL itself has a monopoly on pro football that anyone cares about; just ask the XFL, WLAF, WFL, USFL, or Arena Football. There was, however, a time during the 1960s when the NFL feared losing its stranglehold on the sport to the upstart American Football League. EA is hearkening back to those days, and letting us download a bit of the past with their AFL Legacy Pack for Madden 10.
The pack includes classic AFL uniforms for the original eight AFL teams; the Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs (formerly the Dallas Texans), New England Patriots (formerly the Boston Patriots), New York Jets (formerly the New York Titans), Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers (formerly the Los Angeles chargers), and Tennessee Titans (formerly the Houston Oilers). Also included are the famous orange and white-striped referee uniforms, on-field AFL markings, new Achievements/Trophies, and, awesomely enough, that ‘60s film grain from the video.
Sadly, no classic players will be available, so you’ll just have to live with Jamarcus Russel throwing wounded ducks for the Oakland Raiders instead of Daryle Lamonica. If you think that sucks, just think how much it sucks to be a Raiders fan, and to have to watch him throw the ball all season. The DLC launches on September 24 for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, and will cost $6.99 or 500

Madden NFL 10 Announces AFL Legacy Pack September 9, 2009 – This season marks the 50th season for the eight original American Football League (AFL) teams, and EA SPORTS is commemorating the celebration with the release of the AFL Legacy Pack game add-on for Madden NFL 10.
Available on September 24th, the comprehensive add-on brings the heritage of the AFL to Madden NFL 10 with all-new 1960’s-style presentation elements. Referees don the orange striped AFL uniforms, official AFL markings and logos decorate the field, and more – all while featuring a retro football card-like user interface and classic film grain broadcast camera.
The eight original AFL teams will be represented by name and wear their historic uniforms, including the Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs (as the Dallas Texans), New England Patriots (as the Boston Patriots), New York Jets (as the Titans of New York), Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers and Tennessee Titans (as the Houston Oilers).
The 15 AFL Legacy Game matchups during the 2009 NFL regular season will include the Legacy Pack presentation in the offline Franchise mode, as well as during the Play Now, and Superstar modes. Historic AFL uniforms can be selected in any mode – offline or online!
Relive some of the greatest moments in AFL history with all-new Madden Moments, which include additional Xbox 360 achievements and PS3 trophies.

consider this bought.
This is seven dollars that are very easy to spend. Hell, I'd pay that much just for the filter.
5 yard penalty: Overuse of Sepia tone.
All in.
