We’re all extremely jealous of Sazh from Final Fantasy XIII.  By all accounts, he’s the coolest character in Square-Enix’s upcoming rpg, he’s a professional airship pilot, and he’s got a chocobo living in his hair.  We may never get the opportunity to fly an airship or fight alongside Lightning, Vanille, and Oerba, but some of us now have the opportunity to take care of a baby chocobo.  It won’t live in your hair, but if you signed up for Square-Enix’s promotion last month, it can live in your Xbox 360.

Those who registered their Gamertags during Square-Enix and Microsoft’s Twitter promotion should have received an email with a redemption code for the free virtual pet in the last few days.  Your Xbox Avatar have to put down their lightsaber, remote-controlled Warthog, or Renegade Edition DJ Hero Turntable, but the little chicken-thing is so cute, that shouldn’t be a problem at all.
