Battlefield: Bad Company Exclusive Weapons Detailed
How To Get ‘Em, Which Ones Are Bad-Ass
After all the controversy about the exclusive weapons died down, it’s been all-quiet on the Battlefield front. Without something to protest or boycott, beta testers have had to be content to just play the excellent beta demo of the game. Well, today they just might find reason to complain again.
EA has released a list of the new weapons and methods for acquiring them.
-QBU88 Sniper Rifle: Pre-order the game online or at any participating Gamestop. So far we know and Amazon are part of this deal.
-UZI Submachine Gun: Download and play the demo
-M60 Light Machine Gun: Sign up for the Battlefield newsletter
-F2000 Assault Rifle: Register your Battlefield soldier name
-USAS12 Shotgun: Check your Bad Company stats online at launch.
Over at Xbox360fanboy.com, they’ve tested the weapons, and are reporting that only the UZI and he F2000 are superior to their non-exclusive counterparts. The rest seem to be balanced.
This is a much better solution than what many people expected, which was that weapons would become available after filling out surveys. Heck, I’d have done all those things if there weren’t free guns involved.
