Bourne Conspiracy Trailer: Wow
Cinematic Violence At Its Best
Yesterday, Gametrailers posted the newest trailer for the upcoming action title from Sierra and High Moon Studios, The Bourne Conspiracy, and, well, take a look for yourself.
As everyone knows, games based on movies tend to suck like a hungry leech, but technically, this game isn’t based on any of the Bourne movies. It’s based on the Robert Ludlum books that the movies are based on. If someone has some stats on how well book-based games fare, I’d like to see it, but until then, I’m gonna go ahead and be excited about bashing a man' head in with a book. It all looks very cinematic and intense, with some of the coolest hand-to-hand battles on record, and an “Escape and Evade” mode that looks to be similar to some of the cinematic action in Indigo Prophecy. There seems to be some graphical inconsistencies (check out the hair on Bourne’s passenger), and there’s one sequence where Bourne seems to be getting shot in the head and ignoring it, but overall, pretty impressive stuff. We’ll find out if it lives up to its early promise sometime this fall.

Wow, it to me looks very crappy. The hand-to-hand combat and the book-to-face combat looks impressive but, the graphics look bulky. In other words it looks like a cross between a PS2 and and Xbox game.
