Get ready to kill a tiny Dracula….again.  Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, the third Castlevania game on the DS and the 8,173rd overall, will be coming to the handheld system sometime this year.  In order to get us all fired up for the title, Konami has released some new images, as well as some gameplay details.

First off, you’ll be playing as a new female protagonist who, as a member of the Order of Ecclesia, hunts the evil Count Dracula.  The game will introduce a “Glyph System” that allows for hundreds of combinations of spells and weapons.  Not sure what that means, but the pics are just lovely, as is to be expected from a Castlevania title.  Click on the thumbnails for full size images.  They won't get any bigger, because they're full-sized already, but go ahead and click on them anyway, just for kicks.
