City of Heroes Issue 16 Detailed
She Comes In Colors Everywhere

While it doesn’t yet have a release date, the 16th update to City of Heroes/City of Villains, “Power Spectrum,” has been detailed by NCSoft. This latest update “issue” focuses on the character creation process, but also includes a couple of other oprions that players will want to know about.
We already knew that “Power Spectrum” will add power customization, allowing players to change the appearance of their powers, and now we know exactly which powers will be customizable. Here’s the list;

* Super Strength will have an alternate animation for Jab, Punch, Haymaker, Foot Stomp, and Knockout Blow
* Martial Arts will also receive alternate animations for its powers, but the specifics have not been released
* Traps & Devices have not been finished yet, but may be in time for the release.
In addition, the character creation suite will receive an overhaul, and will allow players to easily and quickly switch between the archetype, powerset, costume and character ID screens. Also, several powersets have been opened up to Archetypes that couldn’t previously use them, and a new option to set your difficulty will appear.
To keep everybody on the same page, it’s worth mentioning that issue 16 is not Going Rogue, the full retail expansion coming later this year.
