Deus Ex: Human Revolution Trailer
Lacks Gameplay, But Makes Up For it With Awesomeness
Normally a five minute trailer with no gameplay may seem boring. This isn’t normal. This is Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and despite the fact that there’s no actual in-game footage that’s not pre-rendered, it’s bad-ass in every way.
I’m not a student of the Deus Ex series, so there may be a lot of revelatory information that I’m missing. I don’t need to know any back story, though, to tell me how sweet that robotic hand is, nor to be impressed by the overall visual presentation. With it’s themes of humanity’s reach exceeding its grasp and the corruption of near-infinite corporate power, the game is sure to be a psychologically engaging experience. As the trailer shows, however, that doesn’t mean there won’t be plenty of action, too.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is expected some time early next year for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and OnLive (first time I've had to write that. Interesting.)
And what was with that giant hole at the end? That was cool looking.

I played the first two. in fact you could probably pick them up for like five bucks on steam. which is awesome. I couldn't be more excited for this game. it look absolutely amazing.
