For the millions eagerly awaiting this year’s biggest Wii titles, Metroid: Other M and Super Mario Galaxy 2, this could be big, important news.  It could also be nothing.

It’s entirely possible that they are just place-holders, but GameStop’s internal list of upcoming releases lists a release date of June 1, 2010 for Sin & Punishment 2, Metroid: Other M, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the Wii, as well as Golden Sun DS.  None of these games had previous release dates, but were all expected to be released in Summer of 2010.

All four previously undated games showing the exact same release date makes me think that these are temporary listings, and do not actually reflect the games’ expected arrivals.  I certainly hope not, anyway.  Two huge Nintendo releases on the same day as Max Payne 3, ModNation Racers, and one of my most anticipated games of 2010, Alpha Protocol, would just be too damn much.  Gimme a week or so, then I can deal with them.
