E3 09: Sony Shows Assassin's Creed II Gameplay Video
More Goodness From the Sony Presser
Sony brought plenty of their own properties to their E3 press conference, but they also showcased some AAA 3rd party titles that made quite an impact. In addition to the shocking Final Fantasy news, the Assassin’s Creed II gameplay demo was among the biggest “Ooooooohh!” getters of the day. Check it out below, and don’t blink; Ezio is one quick mamma jamma.
Looks pretty much the same as the first one. Except for the smoke bombs, dual wrist blades, stolen enemy weapons, improved animations, swimming, and smarter enemies, it looks pretty much the same, except a lot better. Oh, and there’s that little thing about flying around a stunning recreation of renaissance era Venice in Leonardo Da Vinci’s invention, snatching up enemies like an eagle. Pretty much the same, though.
Seriously, the game looks gorgeous, and while it does appear to stick to the general formula of the first game as far as combat and platforming, they’ve already shown plenty of new features, including the ability to unlock unique weapons by linking up with a copy of Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines for the PSP, and there's bound to be more new stuff to come.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on this one as more details are revealed, so stick with Gamervision for all your E3 coverage.

looks so freakin fun...
As long as they add in a new mission type or eight this should turn out well.
The city environments look amazing this time around. Much more real.
Dammit, the PSPgo will not stop looking appealing to me....I don't want to buy it. And yet all this cool stuff is happening on/around it.
