E3 Mass Effect 2 Video Finally Appears
Better Late Than Never

It took them more than a month to do so, but BioWare has finally released the E3 preview video for Mass Effect 2. Looking at the game’s conversation system, exploration, combat and consequences, the video features plenty of developer commentary, and a very cool sneak peek at an enemy who looks to be the “Boba Fett” character of the highly anticipated sequel (wicked assassin with a super-cool emotionless mask and a deadpan voice=Boba Fett). Take a look.
Everything in this video fills me with hope that BioWare was able to address the majority of fans’ complaints about the original game, and implement new systems that improve just about every aspect of the gameplay. The addition of fuel as a consideration when exploring the galaxy adds a significant amount of strategy to your travels, and the ability to truly examine planets should make the experience a lot more satisfying. Add in the improvements to gunplay, the new interrupt mechanic, and an entirely new storyline about disappearing human colonies, and I’m more amped to continue Cmdr. Shepard’s career than ever. I just hope they've paid the same amount of attention to fixing the console version of the game's inventory system.
