EA gave their third quarter financial report for 2010 talked a lot about EA’s current successes in the console, PC, social network gaming, and handheld arenas, and also announced that FIFA 10 has sold an impressive 9.7 million copies since its launch.  Of course, there was plenty of dry talk about operating costs, revenue deferrals, and non-GAAP net revenue, which is enough to drive any gamer without significant stock in EA, but there were a few previously unannounced titles that were confirmed in the report.

In Q2 2011, which runs from July to September of 2010, we can expect FIFA 11 for consoles, handhelds, and PCs.  In the third quarter, between October and December 2010, we’ll see a “TBA” Need for Speed title, described as "a new action based Need for Speed from our Criterion Studio," a Harry Potter game, FIFA Manager 11 for PCs only, and a game listed only as “TBA” for all platforms.  Early next year, EA will release a new Dragon Age title, another Need for Speed game, this one described only as "another big driving simulation from Need for Speed," new Sims and Spore titles for PCs, and an unannounced shooter from Epic games.

Despite all these announcements, EA’s 2010 lineup looks a little slim and predictable.  Of course, many of these listings could change over the course of the year, and other games could be added to the list, but based on their projections, the year looks like a series of safe bets for EA.
