EA Pulls Fight Night Round 4 DLC
Champions Pack 2 Freezing Xbox 360s

If it’s in the game, it’s in the game…until it gets pulled from the game because it freezes the game.
Xbox 360 gamers who purchased the “Champions Pack 2” DLC pack for Fight Night Round 4 were surprised to see their copies of the hit boxing game freeze when they tried to use their new fighters. EA is fully aware of the problem, and has pulled the DLC pack from the Xbox Live Marketplace.
On the EA Sports forums, community manager “Sk88z” addressed the issue, stating, “We regret to inform XBOX 360 users that due to the freezing issues that users have been experiencing when downloading Champions Pack 2, we have come to the tough decision to take the DLC down from XBL Marketplace, fix the issue, and look to prop up a corrected Champions Pack 2 in the near future. Unfortunately the fix requires a full pass of approvals by all parties involved and may take longer than a few days.” The problem has not, apparently, affected Playstation 3 players.
Players who have downloaded the pack and used the manual workaround that EA prescribed yesterday on the same forum should have no problems, and should be able to use the new boxers. For those who dragged their heels on picking up Evander Holyfield, Sonny Liston, and Bernard Hopkins, like myself, the wait will be a bit longer. Until then, we can get even more hyped up for playing with Hopkins by watching his12-round decision over Enrique Ornelas from this weekend, and thinking about how he’s going to destroy Roy Jones Jr. if and when they finally fight.
