EA Registers Two SSX Domain Names
Pleeeeeeeeease Let There Be Another SSX

Among the game franchises that are in desperate need of a new iteration, perhaps the most coveted is SSX. Sure, we got a Wii version in SSX Blur, but we haven’t seen a REAL SSX since 2005’s SSX On Tour. Some purists would argue that we haven’t seen a real REAL SSX game since 2001’s SSX Tricky, which was little more than an update to the original game. Fans of over-the-top snowboarding action may soon get exactly what they want, though, because EA has registered two new domain names that hint at a new entry in the SSX series.
Superannuation has discovered that EA has registered both SSXFirstDescent.com and SSXDeadlyDescent.com. So far, that’s all the info we have, and while it’s certainly not enough to consider a new SSX a sure thing, the domains certainly lead us to believe that something is in the works.
While I’m hoping that these names are being reserved for a console version of a new SSX title, it’s equally possible that we’ll see the franchise revived on the PSP. To be honest, I don’t really care; I just want to get back to doing triple frontflip melons with Elise. God I miss those games.

Yeah, I definitely would assume at least one would be portable. I might be on board if they add alot of new content/modes.
