Do you and your buddies like to gather online to play all-night sessions of FIFA 07 on the PS2?  Probably not, but if you did, you’d only have another month to do so, as EA has announced which of their sports titles will have their servers disconnected.  Every year, EA has to discontinue online service for older games, but this time, they’ll be doing it earlier in the year, and in two stages.  The first, coming February 2, will include FIFA 07 for the PS2, Facebreaker, Fight Night Round 3 for the PS2, and, surprisingly, Madden 09 for the Xbox 360 and PS3.  The second round, coming April 1, will include nothing particularly interesting.

The full list is below, courtesy of MCV, and most of it makes sense.  The inclusion of Madden 09 and Madden 07, combined with the absence of Madden 08 is a bit confusing, though; are more people playing 08 than 09?  Is that even possible?
