Gamestop Briefly Lists Dreamcast Collection for X360/PS3
Sonic Shuffle in HD? No, Probably Not.

For a system whose financial failure marked the end of a major hardware manufacturer, the Dreamcast sure is beloved. Despite the fact that it underperformed on store shelves, selling less than eleven million units worldwide, the Dreamcast library is experiencing something of a renaissance. We’ve recently seen the re-release of Crazy Taxi and Sonic Adventure on Xbox Live Arcade and the PSN, and now Joystiq is reporting that a listing for the Dreamcast Collection showed up on GameStop’s site yesterday.
The listing has apparently been removed, but yesterday customers saw the Dreamcast Collection listed with a price tag of $29.99 and a release date of February 14, 2011. No further details were given, but many are speculating that it will include the previously released Dreamcast titles, as well as two upcoming games, Space Channel 5 Part 2 and Sega Bass Fishing.
In a perfect world, the Dreamcast Collection would consist of all the best DC titles; Rez, Seaman, Power Stone, Jet Grind Radio, Virtua Tennis, Skies of Arcadia, and Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. Given the wide range of licensing rights that would need to be acquired, however, this is pretty unlikely. Still, a one-disc bundle of Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure, Space Channel 5 Part 2, and Sega Bass Fishing would be a pretty decent deal for $30, and one that might entice me to pick it up. Hopefully we’ll learn more about this bundle soon, and find out if we’ll need to dust off our old VMUs. I’m guessing we won’t.

My God I loved the dreamcast. Still play mine all the time. I've got about every game for it and about 30 or so import titles as well. Not to mention I have mine rigged up to run linux, browse the web, save to a harddrive, and it can play mp4s, AVIS, and more.
That machine was something else...
I bought the Dreamcast specifically to play the first Rainbow Six, and then fell in love (i.e. became horribly addicted to) Crazy Taxi and NFL 2K2.
One of my favorite systems, too. I still play MVC2 on it, despite having bought the XBLA version. And Virtua Tennis might STILL be the best tennis game ever.
