Gears of War: Exile Trademark Surfaces
Is Kinect Landing on Planet Serra?

Warm up your chainsaws; a new trademark has been spotted on the US Patent and Trademark office website for Gears of War: Exile. Siliconera found the listing, which links the name to “video game software” among other related products.
The above logo was registered as well, along with a surprisingly simple secondary logo that simply reads “Gears of War: Exile” in black, Times New Roman text on a white field.
So what does it all mean? Epic isn’t telling, stating to Joystiq that “We have no news to share," but the safe money’s on the rumored Kinect-enabled title that was expected at the VGAs, but never materialized. Of course, we don’t really know what that is either, so there you go. I’d imagine we’ll hear something about the game before it’s released; games tend to sell better when they’re made public knowledge.
