A new trailer for Skate 3 has emerged, showing off one of the game's new environments, the University.  While most school levels in skateboarding games feature traditional school layouts with minor changes to make them skate-able, Port Carverton's college campus is designed with skaters in mind.  In fact, it looks like the whole town is designed for skaters, unlike San Vanelona, which was all security guards and bus stops and other pesky stuff you'd find in a real city. 

Another interesting tidbit from the video is the appearance of what seems to be audio taunts.  At around 2:19, you'll hear the player spout some sort of weird, unintelligible phrase.  I have no idea what he said, but the idea of audio taunts and flourishes is an interesting one.  Not as interesting as, say, building your own skate team, but kind of cool nonetheless.

Skate 3 is due out in May, but I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a virtual deluge of trailers in the coming weeks.  I also have a feeling that I’ll be at a GameStop at midnight on launch day.  Love me some Skate.
