Ghostbusters: The Video Game Patched 18 Months After Launch
Can You Tell It's Friday?

Is anyone, and I mean ANYONE out there still playing Ghostbusters: The Video Game? I liked the game, but I can’t imagine that after a year and a half, there’s much of an active player base left. Someone still cares, however, and that someone (Terminal Reality, the game’s developer) has released a patch for the game.
The patch, which went live earlier this week, fixed an issue that made four of the game’s multiplayer Achievements inaccessible. Cheevo hunters out there are actually probably pretty happy about the whole thing, as some of them have undoubtedly looked with disdain at their sub-1000 gamerscore for the title.
Eighteen months is a long time to wait for a patch, and this one won’t be coaxing me to dust off my copy any time soon. Still, it’s nice to see that the dev still kept the game in mind, and eventually fixed its problems, even if it was two human gestation periods after the game’s release..
