GTA Chinatown Wars Coming Q2 2009
GTA IV DLC Could Be Before That, Could Not Be. Who Knows!

Today, at the BMO Capital Market 2008 Interactive Entertainment Conference, Take-Two executive chairman Strauss Zelnick gave investors an update on several of the company’s upcoming projects. Among mentions of Borderlands, Bioshock 2 and Mafia II, Zelnick also discussed a hotly anticipated DS title, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. According to Zelnick, the game will not be hitting its announced release time of early January, 2009, and will instead be pushed back to the second quarter of the fiscal year, which runs from February to April. No reason was given for the delay.
In addition, the oft-delayed GTA IV downloadable content we’ve all been waiting so patiently for is now expected by the end of the current fiscal quarter, which ends in January, but Zelnick also warned that the content may be pushed back to coincide with Chinatown Wars’ release. Either way, Zelnick states that the dlc is “close to completed.” Once again, zero information on what this dlc may actually contain. If they want to satisfy EVERYBODY's requests, may I suggest the following: a new city that's a suburb of Liberty, inhabited by hot ninja alien zombie chicks who blow up buildings with tanks and fighter jets while drunk. That should just about cover it.
