GTA IV, Other Big Titles Coming to Games on Demand
Great Option for Creepy Shut-Ins Everywhere

Unless you’re someone who is seriously bothered by the sound of an Xbox 360’s spinning disc drive (which is, admittedly, annoying), there’s not much reason to dive into Microsoft’s Games on Demand service. Downloading games does give you a small boost in load times, but the games almost always cost more than used copies do at stores. Plus you don’t get the all-important game box to show off your impressive collection of old games you never play.
Regardless, the service is adding a few high-profile games this month. Read ahead for the full list.

If Microsoft would simply match the prices for used copies at major retailers, I would totally get behind the service. As it stands, though, they remain oblivious to the fact that people who would potentially utilize the service are also able to check competing prices, and then determine which one is higher. We can count, Microsoft. Most of us, anyway.

I've actually purchased a game on demand (Mass Effect). Apart from the lack of the sound of the disc spinning (which I usually alleviate by installing games to my HDD), there is simply the convenience factor. I decided I wanted to play ME, it was about 10:30 at night, and to me the premium price was worth the convenience of not having to wait or go out. While I'm not saying I am going to buy any of these games, the service has some merit.
Haha, nice photoshop job. I didn't know that Dead Space came out on the original Xbox. But seriously, that's some good games right there. People with huge hard drives, disposable income, and a fear of interacting with sales clerks should rejoyce. I would buy GTA 4 and Dead Space, but I have them in physical form already.
