Last month's release of Time Crisis 4 was underwhelming to say the least.  Poor reviews and poor sales have plagued the title from the get-go.  In fact the only worthwhile aspect of the Time Crisis 4 package is the included Guncon 3 controller.  It's sturdy, easy to handle and more accurate than the Wii-mote.  Sadly, if yours breaks or, God forbid, you want to play the game in its two player mode, the only way to get another light gun is to buy another full copy of the game!  At $90.00, no less!

According to a representative on Namco Bandai's Live Support Chat, "You can play the split-screen with one Guncon 3 and a controller. If you wish to play two players using two Guncon 3s then you will need another copy of Time Crisis 4."  Play the split screen with a controller?  This is a light gun game, for Pete's sake!  With no plans for a future release of a separate Guncon 3 accessory, it seems that Namco Bandai has made a huge error in their marketing strategy.  Not only do they lose the additional revenue from sales of the gun, they are truly screwing just about everyone who bought the game.  I was salty when I heard that Rock Band wouldn't include a bass guitar, but this is just inexcusable.  My solution?  Just don't buy this well below-averge title.  Simple as that.
