Halo Wars Leaderboard Stats Disappear
Eaten By The Flood?

Guess what, Halo Wars fans; all those hours you put in padding your stats and perfecting your game were for naught! An Xbox Live glitch has wiped out the leaderboards for the console-snuggly RTS. Even worse, developer Robot Entertainment has stated that they may be gone forever.
Shacknews reported that earlier today on the Halo Wars website, Robot Entertainment made the following statement:
“An Xbox LIVE technical issue wiped all Halo Wars Xbox LIVE Leaderboards earlier today. This includes all singleplayer, multiplayer and Trueskill leaderboards, as well as all matchmaking data. At this time it’s unknown if the data can be restored, resulting in the Halo Wars Leaderboards being reset to original Launch Day status. The Xbox LIVE team is investigating the cause, and they will provide an update to the situation as soon as possible.”
Halo Wars sold well over a million units, and with it being an RTS, one would assume that the online community is still pretty large, so this is a pretty big blow. We hope that Robot and MS figure something soon, and that the people who earned their lofty positions on the charts can be restored to their rightful places. Otherwise, no one will believe you when you tell them you used to be # 4 in the world. No one.
