Take-Two has announced the third DLC pack for Mafia II.  Joe’s Adventure will arrive later this year, expanding the story of the main game’s Joe Pesci sidekick character, Joe Barbaro.

No further details have been given, other than a promise of release date and pricing information to come.  Despite the many issues I had with Mafia II, I was very impressed with Robert Costanzo’s performance as Joe, and he quickly became the only standout character in a sea of interchangeable Italian stereotypes.  Seeing his story and character expanded is probably the best excuse I can think of for a Mafia II DLC pack.  Maybe if Joe’s Adventure makes some changes to the game’s core mission structure I’ll think about picking it up.
