Joker’s Fatality From Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe
Best. Thing. Ever.
Since the announcement of the head-scratchingly unexpected Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, longtime fans of the series have been worried about the loss of series staples like blood, fatalities and … well, pretty much blood and fatalities. While we’ve seen signs that this MK game may not disappoint nearly as much as the last fifty or so have, we still haven’t seen what type of Fatalities the DC characters will be offering up, and fans of gore and dismemberment are getting anxious. Well, Gametrailers has allayed my fears at least, by revealing the unbelievably cool finisher for DC’s most infamous villain, the Joker. Watch at the 3:40 mark for what may be the best Fatality ever created.
How badly do you wish the Dark Knight movie had a scene like that? Honestly, that “Bang!” gun was the one gadget I wanted to see Ledger use, and I was just a tiny bit disappointed that it didn’t make it in. After seeing this, though, I’m glad it wasn’t there, because this Fatality is just too cool. I can’t wait to see what some of DC’s other villains (Catwoman, Deathstroke,…maybe Luthor?) have to offer when it comes to dealing out painful deaths.

I really doubted this titled when it was first announced. But Christ. That was awesome.
I approve.
But I still hate MK, and dislike DC.
My favorite part was watching the CPU controlled Superman epic fail on TWO grapples, then finally connect with his heat vision. Then use the same heat vision move again... and again. Yup, looks like a Mortal Kombat game to me...

What irony, the best fatality in a Mortal Kombat game isn't even by an MK character.
When I saw that, I did the same little giddy dance that Joker does.
