Kodu Release Date Announced

Xbox 360 owners who are jealous of Sony’s game-creating wonder, LittleBigPlanet, have something to look forward to this month; the next best thing! Microsoft’s customizable game-making engine, Kodu, will be available for download on June 30. Not only is it coming sooner than I expected, it’s going to be cheap, too; only 400 MP ($5.00).
Normally, Xbox Live Arcade games launch on Wednesdays, but since Kodu is technically part of the Xbox Community Games, it doesn’t need to adhere to this schedule. Whether the game is any good or not is something we really don’t know, but the idea of a make-your-own-game title for only five bucks is too good to pass up. We’ll let you know what we think once its available.
