Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 Retail Box is Real
Go To a Store, Buy a Box With No Disc In It

Back in June, we reported on a rumored retail box version of Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. As a result of a posting on Capcom-Unity, we can now confirm that the version is real, but it’s not quite the awesome package we had hoped for.
Initially, we reported that the retail version would include a DVD case with sleeve, a data DVD with 4 trailers and screenshots, and exclusive artwork wallpapers, icons, character and content art, an 8 page color manual with artwork and moves list, a 1 month free subscription to Marvel Digital Comics, and 2000 Capcom-Unity points, redeemable at Capcom’s community site. It seems that while most of this content did make it into the retail box, the data disc does not. So basically, for $14.99, you get a box, a download code, a bunch of comics that aren't really comics, 2000 Capcom Unity points you'll never use, and an eight page manual that gives the move lists for 56 characters. Those are 8 very crowded pages.
Still no word on an Xbox 360 version, but I’d be surprised if one didn’t surface soon.

Ooooooohh!
$15 bucks for that? No.
That is a pretty sweet box, its nice to get something physical for a virtual download, especially since it costs no more than the one you would just download from the PSN store. Mine will be in this week.
