Mega Man 9 Coming to All Three Consoles?
Hopefully, Rush Headed to Doggie Heaven
A couple weeks ago, we reported on Australia’s game rating board (the OFLC) giving an E rating to the as of yet non-existent Mega Man 9. We later learned that the title would be appearing on Nintendo’s Wii Ware service, which seems like a perfect fit for the presumably 2.5D platformer. Today, Ars Technica is reporting that Capcom has confirmed not only the existence of the retro title, but also that it will be appearing on all three download services; Wii Ware, the Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. Also stated in the article is that the game will be developed by "Inti Creates", a group of old-school Mega Man devs who worked on the Megaman Zero and Megaman ZX franchises.
The article states that this is all confirmed by Capcom, but since they’ve shown no proof, we’ll have to take it as a rumor. A heavily substantiated rumor, but a rumor nonetheless. A wonderful rumor that makes me happier than a hypothetical Mega Man villain named “Happy Man.” I assume he would throw smiles at you.

No proof? The latest issue of Nintendo Power has a whole spread on the game (which is in the style of the old NES games, not 3D).
Rush is returning as well.
I have heard that Happy Man actually throws Paxil at you.
Also, it would have been funny if you made the Wiimote his penis...lewd...but funny.
Looks like it's Wii Ware only: http://gonintendo.com/?p=48038
