Mega Man 9 Release Dates Revealed
Scheduling By BIZARRO!
It seems like the Xbox 360 always gets the good stuff first. Demos tend to come out on Microsoft’s system before they arrive on the PS3. This is partially due to Xbox’s Wednesday updates coming before PS3’s Thursday updates, but even without that discrepancy, Microsoft always gets their stuff first. And usually, the Wii doesn’t even get the same stuff as the other two consoles, even in downloadable form. Capcom, however, is breaking from this tradition with their release of the much-anticipated Mega Man 9. The oh-so-retro downloadable game will be coming to WiiWare on September 22, the PlayStation Network on September 25, and, finally, Xbox Live Arcade on October 1.
Why does the 360 get nearly a week and a half worth of waiting? I have no idea. What I do know is that I’ll be downloading it as soon as is humanly possible, then inevitably smashing my controller into the ground after 4,298 failed attempts to beat Plug Man.

Mega Man 2 is the reason I jumped off of my bed and landed, with all of my weight, feet first on my NES. I look forward to reliving that same mind-burning frustration.
