Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe
But Is It Really A Mortal Kombat Game?
We’ve been following the Noob.com countdown story pretty closely this week, and after all the broken promises, cryptic messages, blurry pictures and random animals, we can now, with relative certainty, say that it was not worth the effort. Unless Noob.com has some totally different reveal than what Midway announced today, it truly was a waste of time. Before the site could even let us in on the secret it’s been keeping, Mortal Kombat Online jumped the gun and announced the next Mortal Kombat project.
I guess this is real, but man is it a weird combination of licenses. MK has a mythology as dark and mystical as a Lovecraft story, while DC has Superman and his talking monkey, Beppo. How are they going to make this work, especially seeing as how DC doesn’t want their precious, marketable characters getting their heads and hearts removed on screen? Well, the answer is simple; take out all the blood and fatalities. In other words, don’t make it a Mortal Kombat game.
Not sure how to feel about this one. When they announced that there would be Jedi in Soul Caliber IV, I was confused, but okay with it. This one, however, is simply baffling. I’m a huge fan of both universes, so I should be excited by this. Then again, I love bacon and I love sherbet. Bacon sherbet? Not so much.

bacon sherbet is an AWESOME idea.
Yeah, there is no way this is going to be like a regular Mortal Kombat game. For one, how do you give finishing moves to the DC stable, who by and large have moral codes against killing?
This move, quite frankly, doesn't make sense at all.
Again, told ya! :D
When did you tell us?!
It would have been cool to see Reptile bite the head of Batman in a final fatality move.
I'm very curious how they will mash these two together.
Ive been waiting for a new Mortal Kombat, not this! MK is my favorite fighting game.

Actually, there is blood. If you go to worldscollide.com and watch the teaser trailer you will see Sub Zero and Batman beating the crap out of each other...and they bleed. But no fatalaties are shown. i think your right... there will probably be no fatalities
